Braking Point Recovery Center (BPRC) in Whitehall is a 16-bed treatment center (10 men, 6 women) that helps people overcome their addiction and cope with the effects of recovery.

We currently offer two types of services:

Detox with Supplemental Living – A seven-day detox program that includes assessments and evaluation, group and individual counseling, and case management. The program also includes a holistic curriculum, such as yoga and group sessions with community leaders from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

Our beds are community beds, so clients do not have to be court-ordered to treatment; the clients can come of their own free will.

Intensive Transitional Day Treatment – A daily treatment program for clients who need the intensive programming without the supplemental living. It also connects clients to sober living facilities if needed, and will help with employment and guidance with mending personal relationships that were harmed due to substance abuse.

Our clinical staff members hold clinical licenses through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and/or the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board run BPRC Whitehall. The center additionally has nursing staff including LPNs, RNs and STNAs. Two doctors on staff include a doctor of medicine (MD), and a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) who is also a licensed psychiatrist.
